MATTER OF TIME Project: Not yet known.
Sara Foerster is a visual artist with a focus on photography. She works with all components of generating photographic imagery and its display encompassing conceptual, technical and material aspects. Her artistic research reflects and unveils their impacts on esthetics and content.
For example: INTERFERENCE Tunis 2018.
A series of works is dedicated to analogue slides that she bought from online platforms. On selected diapositives, she scratched to create graphic patterns. In the projection, the initial photography and the graphical overwriting generate a unique visual interplay. The works are shown in the context of their geographical origins.
For example: FLUX Tunis 2015.
A series of works is dedicated to the chemicals of instant films. She exposed the photo-sensitive sheets to different light environments to engender an array of color field compositions. They were shown in the contexts where they were produced.
